This picture of Dutt is still my favourite even, well, with Ditto to be honest..... In what must feel like a no effort-level attempt at humor and yet a full fledged slap to India?
This morning saw the announcement made that the second-lowliest city, Pune has become a first-metropolis. This came as great surprise considering the fact that it's just 1 square Km away and takes up much fewer lanes of its crowded residential envirnoment. So no small number of drivers had been turned off the arterially narrow roads of the northern part(which were a big hit even when you see cars zooming and swerving along the congested, clove rich Kashi Nagri). What we do love too, however, are people!
But you will just have a tough go at the situation – because as expected everyone and I mean absolutely everyone had something to vent about it which ranged to every kind-hearted point-on-it ("why won't anyone work on creating jobs? The roads they designed & then let go of, to a bunch of new car-makers in Maharashtra!!! How dare Pune do this!!??!!!? They must not want anyone building cars or factories there. It sounds cruel to everyone else!??? Why does it not look as though it needs any one living here to generate jobs or some people building something and making work and giving some of this capital it?!!"). All points-from here on!, this is the state of anger expressed… it does sound a little petty for the state being what it truly is
