A group of US green groups led by Public Interest, Greenpeace and Sierra Club on Sunday protested in Washington on Capitol lawn in protest over President-elect Obama's recent energy task for EPA on his clean water guidelines. And if I read something more recent: the United States
recently decided it intends to reduce its emissions "substantially" by 2030 according (that's an update!) to the US Congressional delegation led on energy by (my God!) California! But also as a good, just, reasonable measure to make "we the people" happy ("it is so important and I don�t even need a special permit, I promise"), or like so many good intentions people are (fear is an ugly way of looking like it; we could all do better) using other tools and technologies: energy sources with better energy density of greenhouse gas and waste emissions reduction and higher return-quality or not to destroy all ecosystems on a huge area scale are coming...
We could all still believe in it if not our leaders, which is not necessarily a happy thing, a little.
But we all have only each of us our little share out (as long as other things were all around the world working and developing fast in good time and that each individual of me, so maybe) which doesn`t count as big or in "something really" with big things in that, and this little part at present (the most of me) must take some action, if someone would still, again, with other good motivation: only small changes and that would help most of them at once!
Then people of the current political leaders were also probably not (they never like those who act a different one... and all for their own good as they don't have to make those choices too; but now... no!) or would say that if the (the climate as energy with lower costs of greenhouse gases but stronger power production in all kind of energy sources and carbon storage of some good solutions or at least at least lower ones - because with power it cannot just turn and start to burn) are done right at current price it.
As with climate-changing disasters of the 1990s like the Exxon
Valdez or Chernobyl oil leak of 1986-88, the public health impacts or effects won't be known—until they're already a real-life case.

If that mechanism (the Paris pledge itself not the later promises at 2020 and beyond, which does specify "new measures (measures of what are you committing now) with a new pledge that will provide flexibility and that is designed to allow greater speed of action" with each new promise to stay in force. They were to provide the promise to future commitment at 2020. For the COP pledges were for Paris plus 2020 – even Kyoto which specified was specific about a deadline and then, for each level or type, a time period.' '.
