yesterday afternoon and saw violent images of tear gas being fired as Nigeria Police clashed with angry youths and young families. One young father saw some petrol thrown as a police jeep attempted to stop protestors, which sparked a riot within the road. Protesters began to pelt petrol against other vehicles with residents also reporting gas and petrol containers in street side shops looted from the riot site with shopkeepers saying the protest could be sparked as often occurred back and during protests earlier.
